Just Checking In

I was noticing that I hadn't posted anything in a while. I do have a very good reason...mono. Not fun and hoping I am gettin over it...as long as I don't get another cold to go along with it, I think it will be ok. Needless to say we have just been trying to keep our heads above water and the house dissenfected!

Tanner is busy Turkey Hunting on the weekends and enjoying learning to hunt new prey. He helped some friends brand last weekend and the girls and I went along. They enjoyed that a lot.

We are finishing our basement and lucky enough to be able to hire out some of the tasks like framing, sheet rocking and taping. We (Tanner mostly) will do everything else. I am SOO excited. There is so much room down there. We will have 2 bedrooms with HUGE walk in closets for the girls when they are older; they will have a Jack and Jill bathroom (shower/toilet are separte from sinks); and their own laundry room (cuz mama is quittn' doin' their laundry as soon as they can start-doing my own is enough :) ) We also have a family room and off that is an office that will be half carpet, half tile so the treadmill can sit on tile and a table for the girls to do their crafts on. In addition, there are 2 large storage rooms! Can't have enough storage, that is for sure!

Olivia is busy finishing up preschool and is all registered for Kindegarten next fall. Brooke is still not potty trained, much to our dismay, but she don't care...that is the problem. Guess we will have to wait till it is her idea! She is really good at talking though and is quite the Ham. At least she is cute!
