We took the girls on their first camping trip this weekend with Tanner's family. We survived and actually had a great time besides being pretty cold at night. Note for next trip-more blankets! It was us, Barb and Alan, Nikki and Mike, Grandma Shari, Tamika and Miles, Teagan, Peyton, Walker and Fallon. We set up camp at the Crow Creek Lakes Trailhead on Friday afternoon and hiked up to the lakes on Saturday to go fishing. Saturday night we had a steak fry and came home Sunday afternon. We enjoyed great food-Barb and Shari are great cooks. And as always, the girls loved playing with their cousins.
Tanner teaching Olivia the finer points of fishing with her trusty Nemo pole! She unfortunately has her mother's patience when it comes to fishing-she has none!

The girls enjoying the creek.

Tanner taking his girls for a ride on the four wheeler. Can't tell they love their daddy, can you!

Hi Denice,
Thanks for the comments on our blog lately. I can't imagine the mess that 2 girls can make when I can barely keep up with Caleigh!
Looks like everyone had fun at the camping trip. You'll have to give us some pointers with toddlers and camping. Craig is dying to go. His city girl wife isn't quite there yet. :)
I can't wait to take Carter camping! She had a trusty pink Barbie fishing pole that she played with all summer, mostly attaching dog bones to it and fishing for dogs...it was pretty funny!
